Up for sale here is a RARE 1st pressing LP of Cal Tjader's Latin Kick, in gorgeous red vinyl, and featuring cover art by famed cartoonist Arnold Roth ( 1958, Fantasy 3250). (While well executed by Roth, the cover unfortunately features stereotypical imagery of Mexicans.)
Hand etched matrix numbers for sides 1 and 2 are F-1672 and F-1663, respectively.
Condition: Cover is in overall very nice shape, bright graphics, mild handling wear, a . Record is in overall nice shape, very playable shape, side 1 has a couple scratches about 3 in each, but not particularly deep...side 2 has a scratch in center which runs out for a bit into the first inner track...both sides have some small spots, which may be light soil rather than scuffs. Labels have scratches, scuffs, a bit of loss on side 1 label. Overall a nice example of a rare LP.
Record is untested, sold as is. Please do not purchase unless you are ok with these terms.
Would make a great gift or addition to your collection. Record will be packed with great care and include an archival poly sleeve.
