Really nice original copy of “Shakedown Street” the vinyl looks pristine, Near Mint. The Cover is intact, no tears or losses, with a hint of ring wear. A corner cut promo, this copy was distributed to press and record retail. The inner sleeve is a generic blue Arista sleeve. Pressed at the well regarded CBS Santa Maria plant. A great vintage copy for your collection.
The tenth studio album from the Dead, and produced by Lowell George of Little Feat fame, who sadly passed away soon after the album release. Recorded after the band hiatus in the 70s, elements of Funk and Disco are included in hopes of radio play. Besides the title track, the songs “Fire On The Mountain” and “I Need A Miracle” became live performance regulars for the band in addition to covers “Good Lovin’” and “Stagger Lee”.
