The BEATLES.  Please Please Me.  7" single. 1963.  45-R 4983 Parlophone 1st press Red label. 7XCE 17217-1N / 7XCE17218-1N matrix nos.   "Made in Gt. Britain" label credit.  "The Parlophone Co. Ltd" in lower case and "Recording first published 1963" label text. No "Sold in the UK" on label. Condition is not great, plenty of surface marks.  But plays surprisingly well, surface noise, worse on side 2 "Ask Me Why", but no jumps or bad scratches. Not warped. Substantial spindle wear.  Faint biroed "NINA" near centre of side 1 label and biro lines through "PARLOPHONE" logo on side 2.  Please see photos. Other run out marks are, side 1, PT1 with U shape above at 9 o'clock and M at 3 o'clock. Side 2,  PT1 with U mark above at 9 o'clock and GD at 3o'clock. Sleeve is incorrect type.
