This complete 'Mono' set contains one outstanding feature and that is it's vinyl discs, Difficult to find in anything other than average condition, these two will not disappoint. They have, of course been played but are visually superb showing careful handling, upon inspection

The Vinyl

Audio: Sides 1/2: More frequently played, this disc still delivers near perfect playback from the deep grooves, with just a touch of peak ware - occasional odd crackle/tiny pop (nothing much) - no other problems

Sides 3/4: Similar to 1/2 but audio quality is as rich and clear as a new disc - super example    

Disc: All four sides have a lovely deep gloss sheen - minimal very light lines/marks - both discs have been looked after

Labels:

Correct dark apple - superb condition - no writing - all 4 omit 'An EMI Recording' text, in error - no embossed tax codes on either disc (unusually)

The Cover

#0129067 - Strong example of this generally poor item - outer panels are smooth and evenly toned (cream) - no excessive discolouration - usual split laminate along the spine but all text is legible - inner panel and flip backs are problem free - no splits along the top open edges - evidence of staining around the printed number

Inner Sleeves:

Original black single die-cut - some creasing - one near perfect - one with tape repairs

The four photos are in lovely condition - Paul has a little water staining, top left corner

*

The huge poster / lyric sheet has some sellotape repair to some seams

* 

All in all, a great addition to any Beatles collection
