THE BEATLES: ‘RUBBER SOUL’ – AN ORIGINAL 1965 UK BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE mono VINYL LP PMC 1267.

This is an original 1965 UK Pressing mono Vinyl LP for The Beatles sixth UK Album Release,‘Rubber Soul’. Originally a rush release for Christmas on the 3rd December 1965. This variant has the rare crossover Loud Cut/Loud Mix side 2, indicated by the marix of XEX 580-1, on side 2.

The LP is on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, with ‘P Date 1965’, Sold in UK and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text.

The official machine stamped Matrices, Side 1, are XEX 579-4 and Side 2, XEX 580-1.

Side 1 stampers markings: 4 GRP, Side 2 stampers: 1 GDR. There is an embossed *KT* tax code visible on the centre of the side 2 record label.

The LP comes in it’s original Use Emitex Lined Printed Bag and is housed in its original first issue Garrod & Lofhouse, ‘mono’ front laminated sleeve with three flipbacks to the reverse.

The album plays without faults, a smooth clear mono sound quality, even on the quieter tracks such as Michelle and Girl.

Both record labels are in Excellent Plus condition, both record labels are undamaged, all printed text is unfaded, all that is visible are a few faint signs of play to the centre of the labels.

Both sides of the vinyl disc are in very nice Excellent Plus condition, the heavyweight vinyl disc is superb. I have inspected both sides of the disc and there are just a couple of light surface hairline marks, there are no deep scratches or scuffs to either side.

The lined *Use Emitex* inner bag is in Excellent condition, NO writing, tearing, or seam splits, just mild creasing.

The original mono Picture Sleeve is simply immaculate from corner to corner and is in Mint Minus condition.

The front and reverse panel of this beautiful sleeve are truly immaculate, all edges, spine and opening edge are undamaged. (see detailed scans of the sleeve below).

This is a beautiful example of this 1965 Beatles Original mono Pressing album with a stunning original mono sleeve.
