WINGS - BACK TO THE EGG   YEX 987-2/988-1 MATRIX 1?/1? STAMPERS   Year:1979 Cat: PCTC 257 This disc featuring Paul McCartney is a fine early pressing which has hardly been played!.  The unlaminated thick cardboard sleeve has only slight signs of wear with a couple minor creases and virtually no edge wear. Graded EX Picture cardboard, polylined inner is uncreased but with a small split to the bottom seam which is not at all obvious. Graded VG+. The disc has a great gloss and is virtually unmarked even under strong light. Visually graded  Near Mint. The labels are immaculate with only a couple faint spindle trails. The stamper codes are not very visible but both sides start with a 1. When played the audio is superb with no noise on lead ins or quiet passages. My records are graded in accordance with Record Collector's Grading System as follows:

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
