Description

Pearl is the second solo studio album by Janis Joplin, released posthumously on Columbia Records in January 1971.

It was the final album with her direct participation, and the only Joplin album recorded with the Full Tilt Boogie Band, her final touring unit.

Joplin sang on all tracks except "Buried Alive in the Blues", which remained a Full Tilt Boogie instrumental because she died on October 4, 1970 before adding vocals.

Condition: Shrink wrap intact except at opening edge; small white sticker in upper left corner. Cover shows minor wear at opening corners only. Inner sleeve intact. Record and labels show very little wear. Hand cleaned.

Grading Criteria:

(M) or (N) Mint, New, shiny, never played. (NM) Near Mint. Like new, possibly played, no visible signs of wear or damage. (EX) Excellent. May have light marks, played a few times, but low in surface noise or no surface noise. (VG+) Very Good Plus. Has been played more times than (EX), has more marks and surface noise, doesn't skip. (VG) Very Good. Has been played many times, may be more surface noise and slight popping, but shouldn't skip while playing. (G) Good. Considerable wear with abrasions and scratching, but still playable.

Shipping: Your record album will be shipped in a new shipping box sandwiched between cardboard inserts. Vinyl will be packaged outside of album cover if unsealed to prevent seam splits.
