This is a 5-record album of Maurice Evans and Judith Anderson performing Shakespeare’s Macbeth.  The album dates from the 1940s (it is advertised in the Dec. 7 1942 issue of Life Magazine, selling for $5.25.  The disc holder pages alternate with text pages with information about the performers and the play.  It’s a “Victor Recordrama”.

The records are in very good condition.  I have no experience grading records, but they were obviously not played much with only very slight blemishes such as an occasional fingerprint or smudge; they have no cracks or scratches.  The text pages are foxed due to years of storage in a dry attic.

Winning bidder will pay DISCOUNTED calculated Media Mail, Parcel Select, Priority Mail, or UPS Ground postage (15% off retail). Sorry, not open to foreign bidders. Paypal preferred; I also accept Propay.

I prefer USPS but since UPS is offering a discount to eBayers, I will gladly ship UPS on request.  Insurance is now INCLUDED (you shouldn't have to worry about problems during shipment). Sorry, will not ship this item out of the US.
