This is listed in most archives as extremely rare: it is the Odeon mono, blue label, 'Alta Fidelidade' first pressing. Later blue labels did not have the 'Alta Fidelidade'. Matrix: BRXLD11113 / BRXLD11114 Vinyl EX, with just a small bagging mark on side 2 covering tracks end2/3/start4 (picture 3). Sound quality is nice for an LP of this age, it has been owned by me since purchase, given to me on my January birthday when first released, it's hardly been played at all over the last 50 years. The cover has some slight age spotting (see photos) and burrs on the edges/corners of the plastic covering.
The Beatles Again is not the same as the US album with the same name. Instead, it is a compilation unique to Brazil. The single tracks "Love Me Do," "Please Please Me," "From Me to You," "I'll Get You," and "Can't Buy Me Love" join a selection of songs from Please Please Me and With the Beatles. The cover is also unique to Brazil.
Most collector almanacs have this priced around $250, although the "Penny Laine's Anthology" has it priced at $500-$1000. This vinyl disc is unusually good for its age. If an improved sleeve were sourced, this item could be a significant addition to a collection for a Beatles completist.
