This is the sixth and final album of  The Doors with Singer Jim Morrison. The Album charted at number 7 in the Pop Charts had 2 hit singles Love Her Madly charted at number 11 and Riders On The Storm that charted at 14 Pop Charts. For this album they only 2 concert dates were made due to the famous Miami exposure incident that accused Jim for oral exposure 7 other charges that were made against him without enough evidence to accuse him. At the end of  1970 one in Dallas Texas State Fair Music Hall on December 11 and the other in New Orleans Warehouse on December 12. A incomplete bootlegged audio copy of the Dallas concert has surfaced as it is said this is the only time Riders On The Storm was performed. The final concert in New Orleans was not completed due to Morrison having a nervous breakdown he was taken off stage and the doors decided to end and retire from performing live. Rumors have surfaced of there being a recording of the final concert as a stage manager of the Warehouse named George Friedman revealed he is in possession of a crude  of the Doors performance, which he keeps secured in a . Friedman explained he discovered the tapes "when Beaver Productions moved its offices out of the Warehouse, Uptown into a building at the Riverbend. The Doors tape, along with a stack of other Warehouse show tapes, were cast off and left behind as debris during the move". Despite the confirmation of their existence, there has yet to be an official release of the recordings. I think it will be a great Idea if they clear this theory and release the concert remaster if this is true.

This comes with the 2-color light burgundy & black varnish-print sleeve, with radius corners and embossed "Doors" text . The front has a cut-out window with clear acetate, on which the band photo is printed black half-tone. The disc is contained in a yellow radius corner liner, which provides a yellow background to the cover image when inserted into the sleeve. The back of the liner has a black-print 'crucifix' image. This issue has the 'Columbus Circle' address on Sleeve back and Labels. Does not have the Warner Bros 'W' imprint on the 'butterfly' labels. And includes the Santa Maria pressing. 'Terre Haute' pressing. This is an early pressing as this of the album as the cover and the sleeve have are light colored, and the label on the record on the label is light green and the other dark light green.

The cover of the album is in Excellent condition, it has some wear of age and due to the age and exposure of  being stored with out a protective plastic sleeve. The condition of the vinyl is in Near Mint condition due to the amount of scratches it has on both sides, you can see them in light when it shines. The Record doesn't skip on both sides when you play them goes all the way through, has some light static when you play from beginning to end the don't effect play. The sleeve on the side of the corner when it has the title has a small rip.The record comes with the Elektra label sleeve and plastic sleeve is not included for the sleeve but will include one if requested. Both the sleeve and the record have no writing, tape, glue or dirt as there both clean. I have also included along with the album the two 45 singles Lover Her Madly early pressing and Riders On The Storm with bold letters variation , they are both in Very Good + to Excellent or better condition. Get this hard to get early first early pressing of the record with the die cute cover along with the single while you.

This is my record grading standards I use, if you don't agree let me know and I will change it or give me your opinion. If you don't like my grading system, then do not bid or think before you do. When you bid like I said bid with confidence.

RECORD GRADING GUIDELINES

FOR VINYL RECORDS:

Mint (M): Perfect. I will only use this for a brand new, sealed item. Near Mint (NM): A nearly perfect record. No obvious signs of wear, though there may be very slight imperfections inherent in the vinyl pressing. Excellent (EX): This is a listing that may not quite be NM, but is just too good to be listed as any variation of “VG”. Very Good Plus (VG+): Record shows some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps not affecting the sound are OK. Label may have some ring wear or discoloration. Very Good (VG): Record may have some light scratches and scuffs that may affect the sound especially in softer passages of the record, but will not overpower the music. There will be no skips in the record. Very Good Minus (VG-): Record will have scratches and scuffs that will affect the sound. The noise will not detract from enjoying the record. Very old records with significant wear will be listed under this classification. There will be no skips in the record.

FOR LP COVERS & 45 & EP SLEEVES:

Mint (M): Perfect. Again…a brand new, sealed item. Near Mint (NM): No creases, folds, seam splits, or cut-out holes. Only the slightest signs of handling may be visible. Excellent (EX): This is a listing that may not quite be NM, but is just too good to be listed as any variation of “VG”. Very Good Plus (VG+): Slight creases or signs of wear may be visible. May be marred by a cut-out hole or other indication that it was taken out-of-print. Very Good (VG): Creases, significant wear, and significant ring wear will be visible. No splits or tape. Very Good Minus (VG-): Creases, significant wear, and significant ring wear will be visible more so than on a VG cover. Splits or tape may be present. There may be some writing on the cover.
