SELLER NOTES:

This Record has been play graded at 1.1 gm VTF (Vertical Tracking Force).  From visual inspection, vinyl is VG-/VG+.  Play grading: VG/VG+.  Label in EX- condition.  Jacket is in VG condition.  Original inner sleeve with lyrics in VG- condition (New white sleeve also provided) Grading summary can be found further down in this listing.   This is an original US pressing of this record Play Graded (See notes in Blue Text further down in listing)

Matrix runout Etched Side 1: R-160175-A1

Matrix runout Etched Side 2: R-160175-B1

Add Note:  Jacket catalog number 25110-1 and UPC is correct for 1984 US issue.  However, record label and Matrix Runout etching bears R-160175.  Also, Specialty Records Corp. logo stamped in dead wax.  This could very well be a 1984 pressing.  However, it is also possible that it is a late 1980's reissue.  I cannot find any reference to the matrix runout with any number starting with R, followed by the number sequence 160175 in the dead wax.  It is possible that the R stands for Rainbow, which is another pressing plant.  Just trying to be thorough!

NOW…….ON TO THE GRADING FOR THIS ITEM. (Grading and Rating Descriptions listed below)

RECORD: Visual (VG-) Beautiful sheen to vinyl, some small scuffs and some scratches.  Play Grade: (VG/VG+) Strong sound fidelity.  Some surface noise (clicks and occasional pop) in quiet spots. Some bands on record play at EX.  Side 1 would play grade VG+ or better.  Side 2 has a couple of scratches (on first track) that cause light clicks over several rotations. No skips.   No Dropouts.  No Groove Burn.  Record has one very slight wave in it but tracks just fine at only 1.1 gm VTF with no problem.

JACKET: (VG): Light creases.  Minor writing in lower right hand corner.  Wear on edges.  Title edge has light scuffing with small part of title information scuffed off.

INNER SLEEVE: (VG-) Original picture/Lyric sleeve included.  Face sides are in excellent condition.  However, seam edges have slits.  I am providing a brand new white sleeve to keep record protected.

LABEL: (EX-) No significant marks or writing.  Very slight wear near center hole with no distortion to hole, itself.  Light abrasion on side one label on far right edge.

GRADING AND RATING DESCRIPTIONS BELOW.

RECORD GRADING CRITERIA WILL VARY FROM ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER AND CAN BE SUBJECT TO INTERPRETATION AND JUDGEMENT.  AS A COLLECTOR, I'M VERY STRINGENT ON MY GRADING AND, IF ANYTHING, TEND TO GRADE LOWER THAN ACTUAL CONDITION.  AS A RESULT, I GIVE NOTHING, NOT EVEN A SEALED ITEM, A GRADING OF "10." ALL UNSEALED VINYL ITEMS ARE GIVEN BOTH VISUAL INSPECTION AND ARE PLAY TESTED, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, AND AT NO MORE THAN 2 GRAM VTF (vertical tracking force), TO CHECK FOR SOUND QUALITY AND WEAR.  OLDER 78 RPM RECORDS ARE PLAY TESTED AT HIGHER VTF (USUALLY 3-4 GRAM).  ALL SEALED ITEMS ARE, OF COURSE, ONLY VISUALLY INSPECTED.   I WILL NOT LIST ANY ITEM BELOW "GOOD" RATING, UNLESS IT IS A VERY RARE PIECE THAT STILL HOLDS MERIT AS A COLLECTIBLE.

TAPE GRADING IS A BIT DIFFERENT THAN RECORDS.  SEALED ITEMS ARE JUST VISUALLY INSPECTED.  USED ITEMS ARE VISUALLY INSPECTED FOR SIGNS OF WEAR OR DAMAGE.  THE TAPE, ITSELF, IS ALSO VISUALLY INSPECTED FOR DAMAGE (IE. MISSING LEADER, SIGNS OF HIGH OXIDE SHEDDING.  HOWEVER……PLAY GRADING OR INSPECTING FULL LENGTH OF TAPE IS JUST NOT POSSIBLE.   ALSO, TO SOME EXTENT, SOUND QUALITY OF TAPE WILL BE SUBJECT TO WHAT QUALITY AND CONDITION OF PLAYING UNIT IS USED, HEAD ALIGNMENT AND/OR CONDITION, BIAS SETTING. NOISE REDUCTION SETTING AND TRACKING, ETC.

CDS, ARE GRADED VISUALLY (WHETHER SEALED OR UNSEALED).  JEWELL CASE IS EXAMINED, AS ARE CD COVER AND LINER.  CD, ITSELF, IS INSPECTED FOR SCUFFING, SCRATCHES OR CRACKS.  WHEN PLAY TESTED, IT WILL BE SO NOTED.  IN MOST CASES, CDS WILL READ PROPERLY EVEN WHEN THERE ARE SCRATCHES OR SCUFFS.

RATING CRITERIA LISTED BELOW: (10 POINT SYSTEM)

10: MINT PERFECT IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY.  EVEN A FACTORY SEALED ITEM MAY NOT BE PERFECT.  SO NONE OF MY LISTINGS WILL BE LISTED AS MINT...INCLUDING FACTORY SEALED.

9:  NEAR MINT. NEAR PERFECT & EITHER NON-PLAYED OR AS CLOSE TO BEING NON-PLAYED AS POSSIBLE.  EVEN A FACTORY SEALED ITEM CAN HAVE BLEMISHES OR SLIGHT IMPERFECTIONS FROM MANUFACTURING PROCESS, WHETHER IT BE THE RECORD, ITSELF, OR THE JACKET.

8:  EXCELLENT.  NICE CLEAN COPY.  ALMOST NEAR MINT QUALITY. JACKET IN VERY NICE CONDITION SHOWING MINIMUM WEAR AND MINIMAL, IF ANY, WRITING..

7:  VERY GOOD.  HAS ONLY SUPERFICIAL SIGNS OF USE, INCLUDING LIGHT SCRATCHES, THAT DO NOT AFFECT PLAY.  JACKET IN NICE SHAPE, WITH MINIMAL SIGNS OF WEAR.  COULD HAVE WRITING ON IT, BUT NO TEARS, NO RAGGED EDGES.

6:  G+  BETTER THAN GOOD BUT BELOW VG

5:  GOOD.  SHOWS SIGNIFICANT SIGNS OF WEAR AND MAY CONTAIN NOTICEABLE SURFACE NOISE BUT PLAYS THROUGH WITHOUT SKIPPING.  JACKET COULD HAVE WRITING ON IT, AN EDGE OR SPINE THAT SHOWS WEAR, BUT, OTHERWISE, IS IN DECENT SHAPE.

4:  G-  BETTER THAN POOR BUT BELOW GOOD.  NO SKIPS BUT COULD HAVE DROPOUTS FROM WEAR.

3:  POOR:  HIGH WEAR.  NOISY. HAS SKIPS AND OR DROPOUTS.  JACKET COULD HAVE WRITING, SPLITS, RAGGED EDGES, TAPE….OBVIOUS SIGNS OF A LOT OF USE AND LITTLE CARE.

2:  TRASHED: USE ONLY FOR DISPLAY OR ART PROJECT.  JACKET COULD HAVE TEARS, WRITING, RAGGED EDGES, WATER DAMAGE, ETC

1:  TOO PAINFUL TO IMAGINE
