(MIKE) PATTO, ‘HOLD YOUR FIRE’ FIRST ISSUE, ORIGINAL 1971 UK VERTIGO RECORD LABEL LP IN ORIGINAL THREE FLAPS, GATE-FOLD SLEEVE WITH VERTIGO INNER BAG, Cat No, 6360 032. 

 

  In 1970, Patto was formed by members of Timebox and signed to the newly formed Vertigo label. With Muff Winwood as producer, they recorded their first album live in the studio. In December 1971, Patto entered the studio again to record their second album Hold Your Fire after which they were dropped from the Vertigo roster. Despite poor record sales, they were becoming known as an exciting live act. Through his connections in England Muff Winwood was able to have the band signed to Island, and they recorded the album Roll 'em Smoke 'em Put Another Line Out in 1972.

  Both record labels are in superb Near Mint condition, beautiful bright and undamaged record labels, showing signs of a few plays around the centre spindle holes.

  Both sides of the LP are in superb Near Mint condition, clean beautiful and bright vinyl surfaces showing only a couple of light hairlines.

 

 
Audio Quality:

  The album plays with superb sound quality through all tracks.

  The LP comes in it’s Vertigo Inner Bag, (the polythene liner within the bag has become loose), and is housed in it’s original Excellent three flaps, gate-fold picture sleeve, all three flaps on the front of the sleeve are undamaged with just light age toning to the edge, the spine edge shows light rub marks and a small area of paper loss on the reverse at the top left corner, possibly where a sticker has been removed, this is a very fragile sleeve and this one has survived with none of the usual tears and sellotape on the three front flaps.
