Record:    MINT

Cover:  VERY GOOD+

These were in my husband’s collection. I am not an authority on knowing how to grade LP’s  but I found a grading guide online (below) and I will do my best to describe them.

I know some LP’s are collectable and there can be variations of the same title which I don’t know how to tell the difference.  If you need more information Please message me with specific questions and tell me how to look for the answers and I will post the answers under The Q & A in listing

Thank You!!

Your LP will be shipped in a professional LP mailer.

I will offer a shipping discount for any LP’s that will fit in the same mailer. Invoices will be adjusted to reflect cost.

Keep checking back for my listings. I will be listing more LP’s

Grading Guide for Records

Mint: These are absolutely perfect in every way

Near Mint: Records are shiny, with no visible defects. Writing, stickers or other markings cannot appear on the label, nor can any “spindle marks”. Major factory defects also must be absent.

Very Good: Records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. They lack gloss. Groove wear is evident on sight. Scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail. When played, a VG record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible.

Good: Good does not mean bad. The record still plays through without skipping . But it has significant surface noise and groove wear, and the label is worn.

Fair: Records are cracked, warped, or skip.

Grading Guide for Covers

Mint: Covers are absolutely perfect in every way.

Near Mint: Covers are free of creases, ring wear and seam splits of any kind.

Very Good Plus:  Covers should have only minor wear. A VG+ cover might have some very minor seam wear or a split.

Very Good: Covers will have many signs of human handling. Ring wear. Creases might be visible. Seam splitting will be more obvious.

Good: A Good cover has ring wear to the point of distraction, has seam splits obvious on sight and may have even heavier writing.

Fair: Covers are heavily damaged.
