For all its 61 years Sarah's 1st 12" LP for Mercury had a lifetime of controlled storage and scrupulous care, and sounds like it.
I've been selling noteworthy vinyl and shellac as Records For Recollectors since 1963. I sell original issues, not re-issues or imports. My personal collection of mono LPs was acquired from 1947 through 1961. I'm selling some of those now. All my record jackets have my catalog number on the back, upper right. My auctions carry a 100% guarantee to be as described. We welcome requests for future auctions, but we will not sell outside of ebay. Insured shipping is free to most of the world when bid exceeds $300. Below that bid, shipping is by Media Mail in the US and Priority Mail to Canada. Overseas shipments will be insured when possible but we ship FOB Charlottesville VA. USA and cannot guarantee overseas delivery. We combine shipments to cut postal costs.
This item will be shipped from Charlottesville, VA, USA
where it is available for preview and pick-up.
I don't use packing peanuts - recyclers hate them, and they never decompose.

Buyer & seller of rare recordings as Records For Recollectors since 1963
On eBay we sell old records of all types, open reel tapes, art, early radios, my life-long collection of Zenith Trans-Oceanic portables, rare (sometimes very rare) books, US and foreign coins and currency, autographs and photos, rare magazines and ephemera, etc.
Quality items at low volume
We stand behind them 100%
We pack to professional standards
We answer email as soon as we see it
Two guidelines we use:
We don't say it's antique unless we believe it is over 99 years old. The only exceptions are motor vehicles, boats, radios, and phonographs which are ruled by a different convention.
In a collectibles industry filled with frauds and fools we are never the first and seldom the second. Coins, currency, autographs, photos, and all other collectibles we ever sold are backed with a 100% guarantee of authenticity. That includes the item(s) in this auction.
We use to sell books at half.com under the alias "Sobriquet" until
eBay ruined half.com by stealing from the sellers. (Shame on eBay.)
