Shipping

We pack all orders with additional board inners (where/when needed) to ensure your order arrives as described in the listing.

We ship most orders Worldwide where indicated on a particular listing. Please inquire about postage rates to your country before placing a bid or a ‘Buy it Now’ order if not shown.

We are getting fed up with some international customer’s not checking postage for an item and then not paying – PLEASE CHECK SHIPPING COSTS BEFORE BIDDING! WE ARE NOT HERE TO MAKE MONEY ON POSTAGE BUT IF SOMETHING IS HEAVY/VALUABLE IT WILL MORE THAN LIKELY COST A LOT MORE TO POST!

Deliveries sent via courier to Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands and Northern Ireland may incur a surcharge. We don’t agree with this but our hands are tied with courier companies adding this extra charge of late. Once item payment has been received an eBay invoice will be sent for payment of the fee. Alternatively buyers can request an amended invoice before payment.

PO Box addresses – Most items over 2kgs cannot be delivered to these type of addresses as our courier company needs a home or business street address for delivery. Please inquire if delivery is possible to your PO Box address if this is the case.

Customs charges to non-UK customers – You may be liable for additional charges if your order exceeds your country’s maximum set allowance for a particular item. Please be aware of this when ordering expensive items as we will not be held responsible for any additional charges to release goods on your behalf.

Questions

We do our best to describe each listing but if you have any questions about a particular item whilst still live on Ebay please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will do our upmost to answer these. Please note though, we may not be able to answer questions if the auction has less than 24 hours to go so please be aware of this.

Payment

Payment within 3 days of an auction finishing. ‘Buy it Now’ items must be paid for at once. Payment preferred via Paypal but we do allow payment by cheque (UK only) for some items.

Cheques (UK only) - Bank charges have meant we can no longer accept cheques unless the total order is over £50. Please inquire if you would like to pay by cheque. Items paid by cheque will not be dispatched until funds have cleared in our bank.

Multiple orders

We aim to offer better postage rates if you order more than one item from us at a time but this is not always possible so please check with us first for the best rates. Please also advise us if you are waiting for other items to finish before completing your order. A revised invoice will then be forwarded to you for payment.

Dispatch

We aim to dispatch within 1 working day (two at most). If there are any delays we will inform you of this but please be aware of any adverse weather conditions that may delay your order reaching you in time. Most items are dispatched via Royal Mail (UK), DHL (Worldwide) or courier dependent on size, weight and value of a particular order. Very large items may be collected from our warehouse in Oxford where indicated.

VAT

We are a VAT registered business. Our VAT number is 183 9989 31. If you require a VAT invoice please contact us via the ebay message service. Please note: The majority of our items are books which are zero-rated (exempt) from VAT.

Problems with your order

Your satisfaction is very important to us and nobody likes bad feedback but we are only human and sometimes things can go wrong. Please contact us via the methods available within eBay regarding any problems before leaving negative feedback. Any defects, damages, or material differences with your item, must be reported to us within 7 days of receipt of the item or 30 days from date of shipment. The returned merchandise must be postmarked within 30 days of the shipment notification and packed well and securely. Return postage costs is payable by the buyer unless found to be faulty on receipt.  

Non-deliveries must be reported within 30 days of Shipment Notification.
