Original Rainbow Capitol pressing - no mention of 'subsidiary' - from summer 1966. Matrix A3/B4. Etching 'IAM +Triangle' the logo of the Scranton plant in Pennsylvania. Please note - there are no 'Butcher' slicks here I'm afraid. However this pressing does come immediately after those initial Butcher re-pastes around the time of general release. The cover does not bear the 'RIAA GOLD Star award' as later copies do. Also included is the original 1966 Capitol advertising inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb shape - particularly given its relative age. Shiny like new and under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with really good clarity. Interference is pretty minimal too - we only detected a touch of light static in the occasional isolated moment. Really nice little player that has stood the test of time...
Cover (Vg-) Remains in very good condition with that famous trunk image relatively unscathed. The only obvious deterioration is the markings around the opening on the front and back. In all other respects it remains a very respectable copy. That all important spine is 100% intact. There's a bit of edge wear along the bottom edge, and it is starting to wear through in places. A small piece of tape has been added toward the opening to insure it doesn't deteriorate further.
Inner (Ex) No splits. In superb condition.
