Hello, my name is Brian and I have been a
vinyl fan for many years now and have always bought and sold items to feed my
vinyl hunger...I have never been a dealer and this is not a business. I will always describe my items for
sale as honestly and accurately as possible with plenty of clear and detailed
pictures.
If you read my ebay feed back as a seller you will see that people are happy
with what they receive from my auctions. I try not to waffle on about how rare
an album is using silly expressions such as "AWESOME" or
"IMPOSSIBLE LIKE THIS" etc etc (yawn yawn)!
I am very particular about packaging the vinyl. I use the latest design strong card mailers. The vinyl is always
packaged outside of the sleeve to prevent seem splits. I am happy to post any
where in the world but it must be fully insured.
The cost of postage will depend on the final selling value and the destination, so I can't advise the cost until the auction has ended.
PLEASE WAIT TO BE INVOICED
Please bid with confidence, and if for some reason you are not happy with your
purchase I am happy to give a FULL refund on receiving the item back in the
condition I posted it out in.
I recommend extra insurance for the more valuable items (over £40), it only
costs a few pounds and is well worth it in my opinion. I will NOT post
items over seas without full insurance.
I use the 'RECORD COLLECTOR' grading system with a + or - where appropriate.
so here we go.........
ARTIST.............PINK FLOYD..............METALLICA
TITLE................THE WALL LIVE........THE BLACK ALBUM
DATE................2000
FORMAT..........12" PICTURE DISC VINYL LP LIMITED PROMOTIONAL EDITION
COUNTRY........USA
LABEL..............EMI
CONDITION......Perfect as new condition, played once.
COMMENTS.....I bought a few of the Pink Floyd albums on picture discs and never played any of them as they are notoriously noisy pressings. But this one I played as I had read about a copy that played Metallica on the B side.
So I played it, both sides, and I find that it is METALLIA both sides? (The Black Album I believe) I have searched the net for information and it seems that there are copies out there which have a combination of PINK FLOYD and METALLICA and even the METALLICA disk which was obviously pressed in the same plant with PINK FLOYD on 1 side or the other?
But this is the only copy I know of with both sides playing METALLICA on the PINK FLOYD picture disc.
I am not sure who would add this to their collection.............?
A collector of picture discs? A Metallica collector? A Pink Floyd Collector or perhaps a collector of miss pressings?
