An original copy of 'Hot Rats' on the UK Reprise label from 1970 [around a year after first release]. Matrix A1/B1. This is a transitional copy which comes from the period when Reprise changed the catalogue number from RSLP6356 to K44078. The deadwax of this LP holds both catalogue numbers. Also, the record labels are consistent with the label design from 1970, before the Warner Brother logo started appearing on labels. The heavy set record comes housed in its original cover printed by MacNeill Press.
Vinyl (Ex+) Shiny like new and has clearly seen very light use indeed. Under close inspection there are a couple of ultra-light wispy marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with prefect clarity. We didn't detect more than a couple of crackles the entire way through - a truly superb level of playback. 
Cover (Ex-) In great condition and has clearly been cared for. There's a bit of light discolouration to the white areas, but nothing unsightly. Please note - there's a name in the top right sector. The interior and the rear are absolutely immaculate. In addition the cover retains excellent rigidity and even the openings are still sharp.
