For sale here is an album by Joy Division entitled Unknown Pleasures. It is the rare first pressing non transluscent red.It is a brilliant album. The singer later hanged himself just before a tour to the USA and who knows what would have been achieved if he had lived. It is a pity that counselling was not available then as it is today. SLEEVE The outer sleeve is VG.I have given it a VG grade because the area around the inevitable ringwear is somewhat dirty especially on the front. The writing on the spine is fully legible. The rounded inner sleeve is NM with the slightest hint of ringwear on the back. There are no names or writing on the sleeves. LABELS  The labels are in EX condition,no names or writing on them but very slight wear to the silver around the edge of side A which has worn away to white but nothing to worry about. RECORD This is in EX+  condition overall.and plays brilliantly throughout. The music has crystal clarity and the production is good. The record has been cleaned by a machine costing £1000s.The matrix is OLD BLUE ? FACT25 A1 and B1 A so a very early pressing. On side A there is a long thin irregular scuff line but this does not click or sound in any way.Side B is NM. To summarise I doubt if anyone would be disappointed with this purchase if they win the auction but if anyone is unhappy they can return the item for a full refund. As usual there is a very low starting price and good luck to all bidders. Free postage in U.K. and a low starting bid price of £0.99 Paypal best but would accept a cheque or postal order from U.K.buyers but that would delay posting time normally within 2 days but maybe a short delay if on holiday. Will accept orders worldwide but if anyone bids from Russia,Italy,Eastern Europe there are problems with the post so purchase at your own risk. Also own risk from Jamaica because custom officials sometimes push a needle through the package to check for contraband.
