A 1st issue of 'Experience' on the UK Track label from 1967. Matrix A1/B1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original front laminated cover printed by Ernest J Day.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition and has seen only light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks, but nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. You cannot beat these early Mono Track pressings, but finding a well preserved one is not an easy task. So many have been played to death...This is copy is like no other I've seen. Look at those label shots - there are very few signs of use and this is very unusual. Interference is minimal. All we detected was a touch of light static momentarily in one or two sections. And then the only deviation is during the intro to track 1 were there are a couple of light ticks [non-invasive and brief]. If only every copy looked and played like this one...
Cover (Ex) Again, someone has taken amazing care of this LP and it really does belie it's age. A beautifully shiny front showing only the lightest of creasing. Edge wear is light too and only really visible on the spine were some of the text has worn off [but it has not worn through]. The rear is unlaminated and so many copies will be looking very tired by now. This copy, however, is ridiculously good condition. There's no ageing, no marks, or creasing. Truly remarkable! A bit of a one-off in my humble opinion.
