An original Mono 1st press on the Columbia UK label. Matrix 1/1. Stampers 1H/1H - indicating this Lp is from within the first 2,000 copies to roll of the press. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse mono cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% original and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In absolutely superb condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. The audio quality off these original Mono copies is top-level....amazing transparency and resolution. Interference is minimal. All we detected was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments [literally]. A truly wonderful sounding record which has clearly been looked after with great care.
Cover (Ex-) In very very nice condition. And this title is difficult to find in tip-top condition. A beautiful front cover practically free from creasing. The rear has survived the usual fading which is common, but there are one or two age spots, but nothing unsightly. Edge wear is very light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies perfectly flat. A truly superb specimen.
Inner (Ex) Aok. No splits. Minor ageing.
