An original 1st pressing of Vol 4 on the UK Vertigo label from Sep 1972. Matrix 1/1. Please note the label is consistent with very 1st issue - there's no mention of 'Made In England' next to the speed. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold sleeve printed by Howard Printers. Please note, again, there are no track timings in the interior - this indicative of very 1st issue. Importantly - please be aware - the four pages of photos of the band are not present. Original inner sleeve [not vertigo spiral] - date coded to Sep 1972 - the month of first release.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In absolutely stunning condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Even the quiet tracks play clean. Interference is minimal. We only detected a bit of static in a couple of the quieter sections - i.e. precious little at all. This is a superb original copy and will be a quick route to the best audio possible for Vol 4. Sounds amazing...
Cover (Vg) In great condition and has been marked down due to the absence of four pages mentioned above. There's a touch of handling wear to the outer surfaces, but nothing significant. Edge wear is light and the text on the spine is all readable. The interior is in superb condition. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A superb specimen none the less.
Inner (Vg+) Some light ageing, but no splits.
