An original 1st issue of Animals on the UK Harvest label. Matrix A4/B3. The vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original inner sleeve. So, this copy is 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In lovely condition and has clearly seen the lightest of use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal. All we detected was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots - literally that's all. Other than that we are talking a very very clean copy which allows the music to flow freely and unhindered. Animals is an absolute classic and this rendition really does the album full justice. A beauty!!
Cover (Ex+) Very very nice condition. These Animal covers are famously difficult to find in decent condition - they nearly always have wear around the sides and the surface. This copy is clearly a cut above the rest. Lovely bold covers with minimal handling wear. The interior is immaculate. Edge wear is very light and the spine is fully intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and is an outstanding specimen.
Inner (Ex+) No splits. Perfect condition.
