Though there are rarely ever any problems with my items (I always try my very best to describe everything exactly!) - PLEASE REMEMBER to contact with me FIRST, if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings, so I get a chance to turn any negative experience into a positive one! I can always happily sort anything out for you, if you let me know you have a problem! This way no one has to leave Negative/Neutral feedback - and we both walk away happy! . Thanks again
All Records are Cleaned
Records are graded using the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide.
The Grading System takes into account that many records are over 50 years old
MINT (M) : The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover is in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
NEAR MINT (N/M):The record appears new but is known to have been played . The cover and /or labels are near perfect
EXCELLENT (EX) : The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. The labels may have light spindle marks
VERY GOOD(VG): The record has obviously been played many times, with several scratches visible under a strong light, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable
GOOD (G) : The record sound quality has noticeably deteriorated , with many scratches visible. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges , spine splits, discolouration ect...
FAIR (F) : The record is still just playable but displays considerable surface noise . The cover will be torn , stained and/or defaced
POOR (P): The record will not play properly with bad surface noise ect...The cover will be badly damaged or partly missing .
BAD (B): The record is unplayable and only good as a collection filler .
For Records that appear to fall between accepted grades then + or – are added to the grading .
Also if a record or cover falls generally in one of the above grades except for a noticeable defect , then I will mention that defect .
