An original 1st issue of Low on the RCA label from 1977. Matrix A1/B2. Etching 'Sterling'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by Garrodprint Ltd. - with a track listing sticker stuck on the rear. There's no insert though.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly Ex/Ex- level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio coming across with great clarity. Interference is relatively infrequent and minor. Side 1 plays mostly [Ex] with a couple of crackles in the odd isolated moment. Side 2 plays mostly [Ex-], but there are spots where it dips a bit below that. For instance Warsaw does have a bit of interference in places - nothing really invasive. Still a very fine example of one of Bowie's most highly rated LPs.
Cover (Vg+) Still in good condition and has been looked after. The front is in excellent condition with just a small stain in the bottom right corner marring things slightly. The rear exhibits only light handling wear and that stain also appears in the corner. Edge wear is light with a bit more on the spine. Don't expect to be able to read all the text. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
