An original 1st press of 'Electric Warrior' on the UK Fly label from 1971. Matrix 2/2. Stampers 1-GM/2-HT. Etchings 'Porkie/Pecko Duck etc'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original E.J.Day cover. Please note '1st day of release' covers were all E.J.Day printed and were made using heavier card.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Lovely audio from this Pechkam cut and most certainly THE pressing to go for if you love this album. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All we could detect was a couple of static crackels in the odd isolated moment. An impressive rendition of, perhaps, T.Rex's finest work.
Cover (Vg+) Font and back are still nice and black without the surface wear that is common - just the odd crease around the corners. There's a bit of edge wear in places and do not expect to be able to read all the text on the spine. Thanks to the solid card construction overall rigidity is still excellent. A lovely specimen.
