COVER - EXCELLENT MINUS  Original raw matte textured light brown very early first printed cardboard gatefold cover with the never seen before purple tint "Led Zeppelin" banner. The front cover has the original promotional hit single round "includes hit single Whole Lotta Love"  white with pink text hype sticker affixed to the front panel cover with the Atlantic Records large "A" with black fan logo and SD8236 catalog number at the bottom left corner. The back cover has the original "This Album Contains..." song title hype sticker. The spine has some light wear, which seemingly has been restored with a great care, the bottom left corner of the front cover has some very light scuffing, which doesn't devalue the uniqueness of this cover in any way, which looks great for its age without any yellowing, writing or ring wear. Very clean album

LABEL - EXCELLENT MINUS Original orange and green Atlantic Records SD8236 catalog number label with the large Atlantic Fan logo at the center top. The record label has the "1841 Broadway, New York, N.Y." address and includes the (CTH) suffix indicating that the copy was pressed at the Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Terre Haute, Indiana.

VINYL - EXCELLENT MINUS Thick heavy vinyl pressing with the hot mix Bob Ludwig mastering initials (RL) Robert Ludwig stamped in the dead wax/trail-off  vinyl on both sides. The vinyl also has the handwritten (ss) indicators in the trail-off vinyl on both sides, Sterling Sound Records mastering company founded in New York by Lee Hulko & Joachim "Joe" Paschal in 1968 and then joined by Bob Ludwig in 1969
