A 1st pressing of Lizard on the UK Pink Rim Island label from 1970. Matrix 2/2. Stampers 1A/1R - which put this copy within the first few thousand ever pressed. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Ernest J Day gatefold cover. The Lp comes housed in a generic white inner from the time.
Vinyl (Ex+/Ex) In fantastic condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out anything more than a couple of super light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one deviation. It really is a superb level of playback - which is a good thing too as these Crimson records really do need a nice clean copy to do them proper justice. Interference is, thankfully, minimal. We detected a few light crackles during the spoken word intro to track 1 and then precious little else really. An impressive rendition by any standard.
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and has clearly been looked after. Nice shiny front and back with only a few creases and a couple of laminate rumples. The interior is in equally good condition with only light handling. Edge wear is light and all the text on the spine is fully legible. Please note the creases at the spine have weakened it ever so slightly. 
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing no splits.
