An original 1st press of Transformer on the UK RCA label. Matrix 1E/1E...that's the very 1st cut. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by Clout & Baker. Also included is a generic white die-cut inner sleeve which appears to be the original. So, 100% original & 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is pretty much non-existent. Just clean high quality audio from start to finish. We couldn't detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. It really is a very impressive rendition - FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) In superb shape and has clearly been very carefully looked after down the years. Clean front and back with only super-light handling wear. Edge wear is super-light and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact - which I can assure you is very unusual. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies totally flat. A beautiful specimen.
Inner (Ex-) No splits. Ageing at the extremities.
