An original 1st press of LAOFW on the UK Island label. Matrix 1/2 - very 1st cut. Etching 'Sterling'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original embossed gatefold sleeve. Also included is the original bespoke inner sleeve with shaped corners. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex-) In great shape and has only seen a light to moderate level of use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quit and the audio comes across with great clarity. This Island LP delivers some impressive audio on this Denny classic. Interference is light and relatively infrequent. All we could detect was a few light crackles in a few isolated moments. Certainly nothing invasive or persistent. This copy will more than satisfy most folk and they will be happy in the knowledge it is genuine 1st press AND complete.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. The embossed front cover is nice and clean exhibiting nothing more than a couple of light creases - ditto the rear. The interior is in great condition too with just some light handling marks in places. There's a bit of edge wear, but nothing significant. There's a it of compression to the spine so whilst the text is mostly intact it is becoming a little awkward to read. Overall the cover retains great rigidity and remains a fine example.
