A genuine 1st press of T & F on the UK Pink-rim Island label. Matrix 3/3 - the very 1st cut. Stampers 1-HL/3-PR. Stamped 'sterling'. Etching 'LH'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original semi-textured cover printed by E J Day [the really early copies tend to have quite pronounced texture]. Also included is the original blue Island inner sleeve with the correct 'Basing Street' address. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Great condition and has seen only relatively light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a few light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Teaser is a very acoustic driven album so don't risk getting a copy with background interference - otherwise it will leave you disappointed. This copy is very nice and clean with minimal issue. Interference is very minor and infrequent. All we could detect were a few light crackles in couple of isolated moments [e.g a few isolated ones in Morning Has Broken]. It plays very nice indeed - impressive.
Cover (Vg+) Relatively clean front with just some ageing creeping at the extremities - as is common. The rear is marginally better with no issues. The interior is aok with no issues. There's some light edge wear in places, but its quite minor. The spine is good with most text legible - just a couple of small spots of wear. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) Quite aged on one side. One small side split which has been taped up.
