An original 1st press of OOOHs on the UK Decca label. Matrix 11A/11B. Stampers 1HC/1HK. Please note label design is consistent with 1st issue and includes that all important Decca deep groove. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Clout & Baker mono cover with pinched spine. Please note R.Stace and C&B covers were both produced around 1st issue in 1965. Also included is the original Decca company inner sleeve from the time. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has only seen light use - not bad for '65! Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. A top-level copy and one that has clearly seen only very light careful use. The audio is to die for...clean and with great transparency. Interference is pretty much non-existent. All I could detect were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments - very difficult to find fault at all. Genuinely one of the best renditions I've witnessed of OOOH. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex-) In very nice condition and looking way nicer than most original copies do by this stage. Very nice clean front with a couple of creases bottom left and then top-right too. The rear is exhibiting some light ageing at the extremities as is almost obligatory - but looking, overall, like a very clean specimen. Edge wear is very light for this title. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover lies flat and retains great rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Lightest of ageing. No splits.
