An original stereo reissue of 'Safe as Milk' and renamed 'Dropout Boogie' from 1970 on Buddah Records. Matrix A3/B2. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed in England.
Vinyl (Ex) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All we could detect was a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments, and five ticks over the reference tone right at the outset of 'Yellow Brick Road'. Otherwise a great rendition of this BEEFHEART CLASSIC.
Cover (Ex) In great shape for its vintage with only light handling front and back. Edge wear is relatively light and the text on the spine is still legible. Overall the cover retains very good rigidity.
