An original 1st press of DDs on the UK RCA label from 1974. Matrix A1/B1 Oly - very 1st cut. Also please note the labels are the very 1st iteration with NO 'bewitched' credit against/below 'Future Legend' The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original uncreditted gatefold cover. Also included is a generic inner from the 70's [not strictly the original one]
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a few light marks per side - nothing troublesome or sinister though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with two slight deviations. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity.  The TEST track I always tend to find issue with is 'We Are The Dead' - but this rendition is very nice and clean with no issues at all. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All I could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. The only deviations are a couple of clicks as the track 'Diamond Dog' kicks off...And then a slight one second short burst of distortion in the 'Future Legend' spoken intro. Neither of which are that noticeable, and neither in anyway detract from what is a fantastic rendition from this genuine very 1st press.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been very carefully looked after. Lovely clean front and rear which are only exhibiting very light handling.The interior is superb - no issues. Edge wear is light for this title all I can spot is a one inch wear patch [not worn-through] at the bottom edge of the right hand panel. The spine is pretty much entirely intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-)  No splits and little ageing.
