From my own personal collection, this is the Classic Records remaster of a famous original Mercury recording of Stravinsky's Firebird ballet, performed by the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Antal Dorati. Originally released by Mercury Living Presence in 1960, Classic Records remastered the recording from the original Mercury masters in 1997 for this audiophile re-pressing on high quality 180gram vinyl.
This Classic Records pressing is now long out of print and copies are hard to find, especially virtually mint like this one. This is not the more recent Speakers Corner re-pressing.
Played just a couple of times on a Rega P3 deck, the disk is in brilliant condition and kept in the polythene outer - may have some dust specs which I have not attempted to remove so you can use your own preferred method. From a smoke free home.
This is an early 180gram copy and has the correct lead out matrix stamper codes - SR 90226-A BG (side 1) and SR 90226-B BG (side 2).
