Warning about grading :
We recently acquired a big collection of approximately 3000+ records in superb shape. Records have been stored in exceptionnal condition meaning
- bought first hand in UK, France and Germany
- stored in plastic sleeve and in a cool & dry place
- probably been played once or twice maximum if ever played
So around 99% are in mint or very close to mint, a few are still sealed.
This collection contains mainly Decca, EMI, Philips, Deutsche Gramophon and a few 'outsider' labels as Telarc, Chandos etc... mainly from the 70's until early 90's.
We will exceptionnaly use the "mint" grading for these records as they are in really exceptionnal shape.
We will use NM and NM+ for records that show extremely minimal signs of use but I insist on "minimal", they are all very close to mint.
We have not cleaned them so they would probably benefit from a cleaning but they have all been visually graded under very strong light (2x 500watts light)

Warning about Decca "narrow-band" label. The UK made Decca narrow-band label records (also know as "ED4") often have extremely light scuffs or shades of black visible under strong light that have no influence on playing, these scuffs are inherent to the manufacturing process as they can be seen even when factory sealed records are opened and inspected.
