A really sweet playing very 1st press of PG on the UK Swan label from 1975. Matrix A1/B4/C1/D1 [earliest known combination]. Please note, importantly, that there are no Warner's logos in the perimeter text on the label - this confirms 1st issue from the time of release. These 1st issues are pressed a tad heavier than later copies and sound absolutely fantastic. Don't short change yourself on one of Zep's best ever releases..Buy the BEST money can buy from an audio perspective. The vinyl comes housed in an original die-cut outer cover with Cullderstead address. Also included is the internal white credit sheet and both original bespoke inners. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. Please note the Lps will be transported in lined inner sleeves for maximum protection during transit.
Vinyl (Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen the very lightest use. Under close inspection there are precious little markings at all - a couple of bagrash type marks..nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. The audio is to die for..these early pressings are renowned for delivering a top-level rendition which will not be improved upon. Intros and inbetweens are practically silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. I'd love to say that many PG copies play clean like this, but this is WAY WAY better than what typically surfaces. Particularly in those tricky slow-build quiet numbers on side 3/4. This baby delivers a clean rendition without anything annoying in the background in these super fussy tracks. This can only be found on a very lightly used copy. All I can make out are a couple of minor crackles in a couple of brief isolated moments per side. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition .... these die-cut covers are really difficult to find looking in well cared for condition. Those die-cut windows are all intact with no wear - again this is certainly not usually the case. All I can make out on the front is a bit of creasing down at the foot, and then over in the bottom right sector [nothing stand out]. There's a bit of edge wear, but less than typically is found. The spines are in very nice condition with light wear. The text is all legible except for the "L" of "Led". A very nicely preserved true original.
Insert (Ex) Barely a whiff of ageing or markings.
Inners (Ex/Ex-) Very nice indeed. A touch of wear in two small spots. One is a one inch wear-through [no big deal].
Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
