An original 1st press of WYWTWA are on theUK Purple lable. Matrix A1U/B1U - very 1st cut. Etchings "Porkie/Pecko" etc etc. And "Gramophone" in the perimeter text. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original G&L cover. Also included is the purple lyric sheet and an original generic white inner sleeve with correct patent info. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In pristine condition and has clearly only seen the very lightest careful use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of very lightest marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback without reservation. Never heard a better copy! This copy has it all.. perfect clarity and ultra-quiet backgrounds. The preservation levels help, but it's close to those original masters and you can really hear it. Nigh on perfect and you'll never find a better copy. The audio is absolutely top-level from start to finish. Be it those quiet moments or the complex sections - all carried off with aplomb and without fault. At worst you might pick out a couple of isolated crackles per side - it is THAT good. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex-) A really nice and shiny looking cover - from the outside it really doesn't look far off new. Back and front are flat and look excellent without issue. The interior is very nice too with just a touch of handling dirt in places. And there's a small stain down in the bottom right corner. Edge wear is incredibly slight and the openings are still sharpish. The spine still looks very unworn. It does, however, seem to have suffered some compression during the printing stage. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A very fine example indeed.
Lyric Insert (Ex+) Nigh on faultless. Crisp like it's new.
Inner (Ex) Very little signs of ageing at all. No splits.
