An original 1st press of NM on the UK CBS label from 1970. Matrix A2/B2. Very heavy-set vinyl as only found on the 1st copies. Comes housed in an original front laminated cover - per 1st issue..with nice heavy-card. Also included is the original CBS advertising inner from the time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition and has only seen very light use. Under lose inspection I could only make out a couple of very light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. By and large a super player which delivers an impressive rendition. Intros and inbetweens are really nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Difficult to find fault it as it plays clean even in the quieter moments. Expect just a few crackles in a couple of brief moments per side e.g. Three Angels. A great little player and an impressive original example.
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition and it's certainly worth insisting on one of these 1st issue heavy-card copies. Lovely clean and shiny front with just one thumb-nail crease. The rear looks sweet with just light wear in a couple of spots and a touch of grubbiness near the spine. Edge wear is very light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing no splits.
