An original 1st issue of Animals on the UK Harvest label. Matrix 2U/3U. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original lyric inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros an inbetweens are really nice and quiet and the audio comes across with super clarity. And you're really going to need this on a PF release like this. Much of the feeling in the music is derived from the mood and ambience delivered. Interference will get in the way of this and detract from the experience. But a really nice clean copy, like this one, takes you to a different level and you can finally fully appreciate this masterpiece. By and large a clean and very assured rendition. I only detected two short passages on side 2 where I detected a few low-level crackles. Very slight and relatively brief. I can most certainly recommend this copy wholeheartedly.
Cover (Ex-) In very nice condition and has clearly been looked after down the years. Very nice and clean front and rear with just a couple of very minor nicks. The interior looks fab with only lightest handling. There's a bit of edge wear to the top and bottom leading edges, but nothing all that serious. The openings are, in fact, still pretty sharp. The spine has rounded over a bit [i.e. it's not perfectly square]. And there's a bit of wear showing in places, but the text still seems to be mostly legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) No splits. One crease up in the corner.
