New SEALED Bob Marley Legend LP

VINTAGE VINYL LP (33 1/3 rpm) 12"

Please Note: We try to be conservative in our descriptions as many of these LPs tend to be 30 to 40+ year old. Those with covers not still in the original shrink wrap usually show some signs of wear. This wear can be scuffs, scratches, peels, rips, corners not squared, labels removed causing rips as well as some writing on the covers and labels.

Prior to posting, all records are thoroughly Cleaned with the RF Record Cleaning System. If you have specific questions about the cover, vinyl or any inserts/sleeves, etc. PLEASE email us first, before bidding or purchasing. We will respond to your request and provide additional pictures or information if needed.

All records will be packaged properly with cardboard stiffners and/or bubblewrap & Fragile stickers on both sides.

Records will be shipped outside the album sleeve to prevent seam splitting. If SEALED, other precautions will be taken.

All records over $4.00 will come with a complimentary clear protective outer sleeve to protect your album.

Below is our grading system. Please use this as a reference for the grades seen in the product title or description.

Our LPs are sold with two grades, the 1st rating is for the record and the 2nd rating is for the cover. In the event there is only one grade shown, it is because both the Vinyl and the Cover have received the same grade. The records are graded visually and played . Some defects are easy to see, such as scratches and warps. Others are subtle, such as groove wear from using a cheap or poorly aligned tone arm. It has been our experience that many records tend to play better than they look. We do not grade sleeves or posters. Some albums may not have the original sleeve, but many of them do. If the sleeve is very important to you, please email me to check, prior to bidding.

NOTE: These are high standards, and they are not on a sliding scale. A record or sleeve from the 1970s must meet the same standards as one from the 1990s or 2000s!

Excellent (EX)

A good description of an EX record is it looks like it has minimal to no wear, no scratches but some very slight signs of use.

Cover: An EX cover is typically free of creases and ring wear and will not have seam splits of any kind. Check photos for signs of wear.

Very Good Plus (VG+)
A VG+ record may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches or pops that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are ok. Minor signs of handling are ok, too, such as tell tale marks around the center hole, but repeated playing has not mis-shapen the hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable.

Cover: VG+ covers have minor wear. A VG+ cover might have some very minor seam wear or a small split (less than one inch long) at the bottom or top.(the most vulnerable locations) Also, a VG+ cover may have some defacing, such as a dealer cut-out marking or a label/name written on it.

Very Good (VG)

Many of the imperfections found on a VG+ record are more obvious on a VG record. That said, VG records are among the best bargains in record collecting, because most of the big money is spent on more perfect copies. For many listeners, a VG record or sleeve fits their needs at a reasonable cost.

VG records have more obvious scratches & flaws than a VG+ record. They lack most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. Groove wear is evident on sight, an possibly some scratches may be deep enough to feel with a fingernail. When played, a VG record has light surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro & ending. This noise will not overpower the music otherwise. The record may have a slight warp that will not affect the song.

Cover: VG covers will have many signs of human handling. Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside. Visible creases and seam splitting will be more obvious and may appear on both sides. Someone might have written on it, labeled it or stamped a price tag on it.

Good (G)

Good records has more significant surface noise and groove wear, label may be worn, possibly significant ring wear, heavy writing, or obvious damage caused by someone trying to remove tape or stickers on the label and failed. A good record will play without skipping. Many people enjoy Good records until they can locate or afford an upgrade.

Cover: Has ring or edge wear to the point of distraction, shows more wear & tear than a VG, may have seam splits, heavier writing, or possible water stains. (You can replace the sleeve if it bothers you)
