Here is an Original 3 Disc 10 Inch 78rpm Set featuring David Niles Narrating Children's Bible Stories & Annotation and Drawings by Woody Guthrie titled:

In The Beginning - A Delightful Retelling For Young Listeners of Old Testament Stories By Sholem Ash - Adam & Eve - Noah & His Ark - The Tower Of Babel - Abraham - How Abraham Come To Know God - Asch Records 1940s

This Set appears in the Official Woody Guthrie Center Web-Site as an official Release and on the web-site Guthrie is credited for Drawings and Annotation. Although no credit is given for voice or music, we suppose it is possible that he had some part in the recording. Nevertheless, this Set is considered part of the Woody Guthrie Recording Line-Up as given on the official Woody Guthrie Center Web-Site. Although Woody's name does not appear anywhere on the recording, he was part of the Asch Records Line-Up during this time period and apparently had great influence on many Asch Record Recordings. The Cover features 4 attached pages(8 sides) with art work and text & this is apparently where Guthrie's guidance was credited on this Set.

Each Disc is in Very Good to Very Good(+) Condition and while play wear can be seen & heard on each Disc & Side, they all do still Play & Sound very well. A few light to moderate crackles will be heard along the way with the possibility of a light "tic" from time to time, however, no serious play problems were detected.

The Cover is in Very Good Condition and while it still looks quite nice, most of the condition issues will be found inside. The 3 inside Disc Sleeves are still Nice & Clean and all fully function without tears or splits, however, this section is detached from the spine. The first and last text/art-work pages are, however, still firmly attached to the spine and the 2 pages on the inside sections are still firmly attached to the Sleeve Sections. Each page has wear along the page edges and this may include some small tears, however, they are all quite clean and are all easy to see & read.
