An original 1st issue of Meddle on the UK Harvest label. Matrix 4/3. Please note the perimeter text on the labels mentions 'Gramophone' - and this ensures you are getting a 1st issue from whilst the album charted. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original textured cover [inside and out]. Also included is the original generic white inner with blue patent text. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In beautiful condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection I can only really make out one light mark in 'Echoes' [barely feelable] - it does just about sound see details below. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. In my experience this PF title is extremely difficult to find in truly top order all the way through. But I'm pleased to report a very high standard of playback for the most part, with just one vaguely noticeable exception. You might detect a few light static crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side, but by and large it plays clean. The one deviation is the mark mentioned above part way through 'Echoes'. It causes around 15 very low-level ticks in the background. Absolutely nothing upfront in the audio - but it is audible all the same. Providing you can live with this one relatively minor issue the rest of the LP will thoroughly impress.
Cover (Vg+) Very nice fully textured specimen that might grade a bit higher, but for some age spots in the interior. Make sure you can see them. Whilst the interior is nice and white there are a few of these blemishes/spots above the bands heads. Front and back are in excellence condition with far less creasing and surface wear than is often found. Edge wear is very slight too and the spine is almost perfectly intact with all text perfectly legible [this is very unusual indeed]. A nice early specimen - just make sure you can handle those spots in the interior.
Inner (Ex-) lightest ageing. No splits or markings.
