This is a brand new never opened copy of Solange "When I Get Home" on LIMITED EDITION 150 Gram Clear Vinyl LP directly from the distributor. I am including a free 3 mil thick polybag to keep your album protective, yet still very accessible.

Limited clear vinyl LP pressing. When I Get Home is the 2019 album from Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter and visual artist Solange Knowles. This release represents the next phase in Solange's evolution as an artist, and is the follow up to her critically acclaimed 2016 album A Seat at the Table. The album is an exploration of origin. It asks the question how much of ourselves do we bring with us versus leave behind in our evolution. The artist returned to Third Ward Houston to answer this. When I Get Home was written, performed, and executive produced by Solange, and includes contributions from Tyler, the Creator, Chassol, Playboi Carti, Standing on the Corner, Panda Bear, Devin the Dude, The-Dream, and more. It also features samples from Third Ward's own Debbie Allen, Phylicia Rashad, poet Pat Parker, and Scarface.

What is a SPLIT SEEM? Due to the record moving around inside the outer cover during transit, or if dropping on an edge, a record can sometimes vibrate thru or break thru one or more edges of the outside cover, thereby splitting the seem open near the center of those edges. Not pretty! To 100% prevent this, the record has to be removed from the cover and protected separately, while the cover ships empty.

On request, in order to prevent a SPLIT SEEM from occurring during shipping, I can carefully slit open the plastic seal just to remove the record, and that would be placed inside an extra paper sleeve and put behind the cover, outside the cover, with both put into the 3 mill protective sleeve that I am giving for free. This is how vinyl collectors always ship records. The one problem some people may think is that the record needs to be opened in order to ship it protected, but if you are going to open it to play it anyway, this doesn't even matter.
