A very 1st press of Coda on the UK Swan label. Matrix A2/B - very 1st cut. The 1st pressings can be found on very nice solid vinyl - much heavier than typical early 80's crappy stock. The vinyl comes housed in an original embossed 1st issue cover. Also included is the bespoke inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In lovely condition and has clearly only seen very light use. Under close inspection I can only make out only a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations on side 2. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity - for the most part. Expect a bit of static during 'Since I Been Lovin You' & 'Darlene' & 'Montreaux'. Nothing invasive, but these tracks don't quite play as clean as the rest of the LP. We also detected a few ticks in the first half 'Ozone Baby'.
Cover (Ex-) In very nice condition and has survived the years in fine form. The front looks very nice with a couple of foxing marks down in the bottom right corner. There's nothing detrimental observable on the back. The interior looks great with no issues at all. Edge wear is minimal. The only place it's slightly noticeable is on the spine. All text still fully legible, but there's a couple of patches of wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex/Ex+) Super condition. No splits.
