carefully graded and stored on shelves. I am very fussy about condition and my records are either Ex+ or NM and come with a full guarantee.

A fascinating record. Ricci plays 15 rare historic instruments, specially imported into the United States in order for Ricci to make this studio recording, in virtuoso pieces 

chosen to demonstrate the unique and characteristic sound of each violin. Six famous violin makers of Cremona are represented here,  Andrea Amati, Nicolo Amati,

Stradivari / Bergonzi / de Salo and Guarneri del Gesu and the leaflet includes an interesting assessment by Ricci of the particular qualities of each violin.

GRADING: 

NM (near mint):  Looks as new. No marks or scratches. Seldom played with few, if any, spindle marks on the label.

EX+:  No significant marks or scratches. May have light paper scuffs and non-sounding hairlines. Very few spindle marks on the label.

EX:  We rarely list items in this category, which may show more signs of wear and have heavier  marks and scuffs, but no serious flaws that might compromise sound quality. Still a fine copy.
