An original 1st STEREO press of OLDIES on the UK Parlophone label from 1966. Matrix 1G/1G - 1st cut. Stampers 1-H/2-P. The very earliest copies in stereo should have the format in large letters "STEREO" - as you find here. These early copies were pressed heavy unlike copies from just a few short years later. The vinyl comes housed in an original STEREO cover printed by E J Day.  Also included is an original sepia toned Emi advertising inner sleeve too. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. When on song it's a really nice clean player - impressive. The only audible background I could pick out was in Michelle & Yesterday. This is fairly typical - they're really tricky tracks to find playing properly clean. Not invasive - but background will be audible here and there in these two. A few isolated crackles in 'E Rigby' - but little else. Overall a very well preserved copy which is more than capable of dishing these Beatles classics out in top form. 
Cover (Vg+) Lovely and clean shiny front with just a couple of thumbnail creases. The rear sees to have escaped the worst of the usual ageing - but note there's just a hint of it in the odd spot. Edge wear is light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) A bit of ageing. No splits.
