An original USA Mono 1st issue from 1965 and would have been available whilst the LP first charted. Worth insisting on these early Mono copies - they were pressed heavy and Mono is the perfect format for the Byrds. The vinyl comes housed in an original rear image pasted USA printed cover.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. An absolute belter - and there's very little to take issue with here. Byrds audio needs real clarity in order to do it maximum justice. Intros and inbetween are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. I'd also suggest that MONO is THE way to take this title in. The audio quality is quite frankly superb...and consistently clean throughout. Love it. Expect nothing more than a few crackles in one spot per side. Highly recommended.
Cover (Vg+) These 60's USA covers are often found shot to pieces. But this example is looking pretty tidy considering its relative vintage. The front exhibits a bit of light surface wear - better than you typically tend to find. The rear exhibits a bit of light ageing - but nothing standout. There's a touch of edge wear, but it is way better looking than many specimens. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity in part thanks to the heavy-card employed in manufacture.
