An original and very 1st press from 1980. Matrix A1/B1 - this doesn't mean a whole lot, to be honest, as it was used repeatedly for several years. What you need to confirm very 1st press - is the correct text on the labels. 2nd issues have three lines for the credit at the foot - genuine 1st copies have it across just two lines [and there's no publishing 'p' in a circle]. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover without barcode. We also have an EMI poly-lined inner sleeve from the early 80's - this is best for protecting the record. We also have a replica [from the time] - solid black inner sleeve too.
Vinyl (Vg+) Has been looked after and not abused. Has seen a fair bit of use so expect a good few marks, and a few superficial trails. So, if you need a perfectly clean looking copy - perhaps move onto the next copy. But none of the marks seems to cause much issue with the audio. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly VERYGOOD+ level of playback with one deviation. Given that most of the LP is played at full pelt with maximum volume - there's not much room for background interference! So, by and large it's gonna sound bangin'. When on song - there's little to pick fault with. But in the occasional track which does go low-key [like TOMORROW] do expect a bit of background to exhibit. Overall a great player and genuine 1st press to boot.
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and has clearly been looked after. Nice clean and flat front and rear - just a few thumbnail creases and a couple of light indentations. Edge wear is pretty limited for this title . There's a bit at the top of the spine - so not all the text is still legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Excellent. Bit of a split one side. I've internally tape repaired - and it is almost invisible to the naked eye.
