An original 1st press of AFD on UK Geffen [pressed in Germany - as all copies were for the UK market]. Matrix A1/B1 - 1st cut. The vinyl comes housed in an original ROBOT art cover - these were discontinued as a matter of taste [don't let anyone tell you they are rare though!]. The cover has the lyric warning sticker. There are NO additional stickers with this LP. The original lyric inner sleeve is present. 100% genuine....and 99% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In excellent order and has only seen relatively light use. A couple of light marks per side and there's some very low-level superficial scuffing marks on side 2 [nothing troublesome]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of minor deviations. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. A really clean player and the audio packs an amazing punch. When Nightrain comes in you know they mean business! This copy is close to those original masters - and you can hear it. Very little to take issue with here [except for the swearing - ha!]. Maybe just a few sporadic crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side [e.g. WTTJ intro.. briefly in the intro to MICHELLE]. It is a great player - consistently. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) Difficult to find in top-level condition, but this example is looking pretty dandy. Lovely clean and flat surface front and back. A few very light stress creases at the edge [no big deal]. There's a touch of edge wear in places - but it is pretty minimal. The spine looks great - 100% intact. What looks like wear on the spine - is just shine! Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Truly a lovely looking example.
Inner (Vg+) Looks great at first sight. Note - there's a 1c.m. bottom edge split and there's a patch of damage over to the right of Slash on the right. Seems to have been repaired successfully.
